This beautiful and rare belt buckle was made in 1986 by the Bergamot Brass Works Company. The back of the buckle is inscribed: "With its abundant numbers and the ability to survive in many different climates, the crappie is probably the most popular panfish with American anglers. Usually taken with jigs, worms, or minnows, a school of crappies is not only a lot of fun, but fine eating as well." It is marked number J-45. It measures approx. 2-7/8 wide by 2-1/4 inches tall. It can be used on a belt up to 1-3/4 inches wide.
