Houston Jaggers of Eaton, Indiana lived in Canada for many years. He loves to fish with minnows, but found that dipping his hand into the frigid water temperature of a minnow bucket over and over was, to say the least, an unpleasant experience. He knew there had to be a better way. As a manager of a plastics factory, Houston was able to develop a new and improved minnow bucket that dispenses one minnow at a time without freezing your hands. It also eliminates the possibility of your hands contaminating your minnows! It's perfect for cold water conditions, including ice fishing, but it's advantages are endless throughout the year. Regardless of the water temperature, if your hands stay dry, the minnow is easier to hold while baiting your hook!
To operate the bucket, simply pull up on the center lever. When the false bottom emerges from the water, slowly pull the lever upward looking through the clear lid so you can see the minnows rise toward the down spout. You can then release one minnow into the down spout and into your hand.
If by chance, more than one minnow falls out, simply put it back into the bucket through the inverted funnel in the lid. The funnel can also be used as an easy water fill port.
The Dry Hands Minnow Bucket is made of tough, durable plastic so there is no metal parts to rust. It even has an aerator mounted to the lid to keep your minnows healthy for extended periods. The insulated jacket is made of extrued polyethylene foam, a super strong molded material that will last a long, long, time.
